  • Observer in the Strategic Coordination Group  (SCG)  of EC meetings, as a result of an official request of CEE NBO Secretariat – 2003;
  • CEE NBO Secretariat involvement within EC TWINBASIN programme (2004 - 2006) resulting: 43% eligible proposals had at least a partner (Basin Organisation / country) from CEE NBO Network;
     Based on the MoU signed between OIEau and ANAR regarding the project “TWINBASIN – Promoting Twining of River Basin for Developing Integrated Water Resources Management Practices, the following twinnings have been developed, with the support of CEENBO Secretariat :
    • Ialomita – Buzau Water Branch, Romania – Jucar Water Agency, Spain (project pilot);
    • Dobrogea – Litoral Water Branch, , Romania – Environmental Inspectorate Varna, Bulgaria;
    • Banat Water Branch, Romania – Water Agency Artois – Picardie, France;
    • Olt Water Branch, Romania – Komati KOBWA, South Africa;
    • Romanian Water National Administration, Romania – SIC ICWC (Scientific Information Center of Interstate Water Coordination Commission), Uzbekistan;
    • Crisuri Water Branch, Romania – Rhin-Meuse Water Agency, France.
  • 2005 - Organisation of a Study Tour in Hungary for Romanian experts, in the frame of RO-HU-CZ cooperation;
  • Report to SCG conclusions of the 2008 EUROPE-INBO;


  • 2011 – Organisation of a Study Tour in Czech Republic for Romanian experts, in the frame of RO-CZ  cooperation;
